Last week I held a meeting with parents of our girls grade 6-8 select Motion players. Here are a few shots from our exciting Gotham Basketball Association league. We started with six boys’ teams 4 seasons ago. We’re up to close to 60 teams – half boys, half girls. Getting boys teams is the easy part. I cannot express how pleased I am with not only how well it all worked out with the girls getting equal opportunity, but how inspirational it is to see some of these girls go to work.
